2019年我參加了為期好幾天的正顎手術訓練班，在那裡我認識了Dr. Huy，那是一堂改變我對於自己很多認知的課程。這次回到中南半島順道參觀了由Dr. Huy所主持的整形醫院，深刻的體會到東協的進步超出了我們的預期。這段短暫的參訪我也認識了一位非常傑出的整形外科醫師Dr. Louis，其中我們也對於一個困難的案例有了交流想法的機會。更重要的是在他們忙碌的臨床中，仍然能夠對於較弱勢的病人，尋求更多的資源來協助，這也是我一直都會持續的事情。
In 2019, I attended a multi-day orthognathic surgery training program, where I met Dr. Huy. It was a course that fundamentally changed many of my own perspectives. During this trip back to the South East Peninsula, I took the opportunity to visit the plastic surgery hospital led by Dr. Huy, and I was deeply impressed by how the progress in ASEAN countries has exceeded our expectations. During this brief visit, I also met a very outstanding plastic surgeon, Dr. Louis, and we had the chance to exchange ideas about a particularly challenging case. Even more importantly, despite their busy clinical practice, they still seek additional resources to help disadvantaged patients, which is something I will always continue to do as well.
