在暹粒的慈善唇顎裂示範手術結束後，我趕回金邊在整形外科醫學會上做了正顎手術的報告，除此之外，學會邀請了除了我以外的新加坡以及印度的顱顏外科醫師對於如何在低資源地區建立顱顏外科的教育與發展，做了一場很有意義的座談會。我想這件事是我會一直做下去的事情，從開始到現在不曾改變。就像當年我面試口腔顎面外科住院醫師時說的一樣，也是後來到了整形外科顱顏中心的初衷。
After completing the cleft lip and palate charity demonstration surgery in Siem Reap, I rushed back to Phnom Penh to deliver a presentation on orthognathic surgery at the Plastic Surgery Society meeting. In addition, the society invited craniofacial surgeons from Singapore and India, besides myself, to take part in a meaningful panel discussion on how to establish craniofacial surgery education and development in low-resource regions. This is something I intend to keep doing, and it has remained unchanged from the very beginning. It is the same commitment I expressed during my interview for the oral and maxillofacial surgery residency years ago, and the same original intention that guided me when I later joined the craniofacial center in plastic surgery.
